Public Works Committee Meeting
The committee discussed updates on various projects, including buildings and grounds improvements such as the city hall chiller and police department roof, water and sewer line maintenance with an AMI project and lead and copper updates, and wastewater treatment plant rehabilitation. They also covered the SCADA system upgrade, upcoming clarifier rehab and ultraviolet project, and efforts to address infiltration in the system. Additionally, there were discussions on the search for a public works director, solid waste collection, and recycling efforts.
