The Local Control and Accountability Plan for Dixon Unified School District is a roadmap to ensure all students are prepared for college, career, and global societal participation. It is guided by three strategic goals: engaging students in standards-aligned, rigorous curriculum; promoting social-emotional and behavioral learning in safe, healthy, and culturally responsive schools; and fostering active partnerships with families and the community. The plan emphasizes equitable access, culturally responsive practices, data-informed decision-making, and is grounded in principles of highly qualified staff recruitment and retention, responsible resource allocation, and research-based practices.
