State of Washington Strategic Plan 2019-2024
The 2019-2024 Strategic Plan for Washington State's Homeless Housing Crisis Response System outlines specific actions to reduce unsheltered homelessness, aiming for a 12% reduction by 2024. Key areas of focus include improving the identification and prioritization of people experiencing homelessness, preventing youth and young adult homelessness, and addressing inequities in services and outcomes related to race, ethnicity, disabilities, and LGBTQ+ identities. The plan emphasizes transparency and accountability in the use of funding, expanding technical assistance to counties, and refining online tools to enhance understanding of outcomes.
