City of Bayfield Parks & Recreation Committee Committee Minutes

The committee discussed standard update reports regarding the playground subcommittee's design progress and grant applications. Round-robin updates were provided for various parks and trails, including the Big Ravine, Cooper Hill, Dalrymple Campground, East Dock Park, Halvor Reiten, and the Waterfront Walk. New business included the discussion of the SEH Lower Big Ravine Draft Report and the approval of a proposal to install a temporary, removable fire ring at Washington Ave Beach. Old business focused on trail policies, which will be forwarded to the Public Works Committee and opened for public comment, along with discussions regarding the Sweeny Loop Trail proposal and the Dalrymple Campground reservation system.
