The meetings revolved around discussions and resolutions regarding the scheduling of lectures and recitations on the first Monday of each month and its impact on the Society's activities. The Society expressed concerns that the new schedule would hinder their ability to address spiritual destitution and engage in Christian endeavors. The faculty responded with a proposal to adjust lecture times and grant occasional indulgences for Society activities. Ultimately, the Society voted to suspend its regular meetings until suitable arrangements could be made. Later discussions involved reconsidering previous votes and forwarding resolutions to the faculty, as well as correspondence regarding the faculty's decision to dedicate the first day of every month to missions and Society business.
