Tolleson Union High School District Governing Board Regular Meeting
The Governing Board discussed various operational and administrative items. Key actions included approving the fiscal year 2025-2026 proposed budget, awarding contracts for medical assisting curriculum, marketing and advertising, and walk-through detection systems, and approving a courtyard modification project at Sierra Linda High School. The Board also addressed personnel items, approved payroll and expense vouchers, accepted gifts and donations, and reviewed student activity and tax credit reports. Additionally, the Board authorized several agreements, including a utility easement for Salt River Project, an MOU for mental health services with Touchstone Behavioral Health, an ASDB agreement, and a School Resource Officer agreement with the City of Phoenix. A third-party investigation report was released, a resolution supporting the LGBTQIA+ community was adopted, and policy revisions regarding agenda preparation were approved. Finally, the Board conducted an executive session to evaluate the Superintendent and approve performance pay.
