Columbia County Board of Education Regular Session Meeting
The board meeting featured several special recognitions, including awards for teacher induction programs, school cursive writing proficiency, and Title One school status, as well as the honoring of student leaders. The board approved various consent items and received a presentation on the new Unified District Literacy Plan, a K-12 roadmap developed in compliance with state legislation to enhance literacy performance.
