Tontitown City Council Minutes
The council addressed several organizational restructuring items, including establishing new director positions for Human Resources, Public Works, and the Water and Sewer Department, as well as clarifying the role of a Director of Parks, Museum, and Grants. Governance for the Tontitown Historical Museum was redefined, and the job description for the Accounting Clerk position was clarified. The council authorized grant applications for North Barrington and Harmon/Wildcat Creek and accepted a bid for the construction of the Police Department. Extensive public comment was heard regarding landfill odors and air quality concerns, although a proposed resolution to formally oppose a landfill expansion failed to pass.
