Boyd County Board of Education Regular Board Meeting
The meeting included a presentation honoring retiring public school staff members and a monthly district finance update. The Board acted on several action items, including the approval of a Memorandum of Understanding with Eastern Kentucky University for the EKU Advantage Program, the addition of new staff positions, the renewal of E-Rate consulting and communication platform services, the approval of various salary schedules and payroll schedules for the upcoming school year, and several personnel reclassifications. Additionally, the Board approved contracts for occupational therapy, psychological testing, speech therapy, and behavioral health services, as well as reviewed and approved several policy updates from the Kentucky School Boards Association and authorized various school fundraising requests and building use agreements.
