This Quality Enhancement Plan, titled 'Career Compass,' is a five-year initiative by Holmes Community College designed to support the SACSCOC reaffirmation of accreditation process. It focuses on guiding undecided students, particularly those in General College Studies, to select an academic or career program of study early in their college career. The plan aims to increase students' confidence, knowledge of career paths, and engagement with local businesses through interventions like career profiles assignments, exploration courses, seminars, and advisor training, ultimately enhancing their likelihood of graduation and successful transition into the workforce or higher education.

Holmes Community College's strategic plan is dedicated to providing accessible and high-quality educational and cultural opportunities. The plan focuses on preparing students for university transfer, employment, and lifelong learning through campus-based and distance education programs. Key initiatives include maintaining educational quality, leveraging emerging technologies, enhancing student-personnel interactions, improving infrastructure, enhancing public relations, and expanding partnerships with business, industry, and agencies.
