The meeting included the introduction of a new fire department employee. The board authorized advertising for the purchase of police cars and granted a parade permit to UT Southern Cross Country. The board discussed leasing two acres on Mines Road to Patriot Rail and authorized the Mayor and City Recorder to enter into an agreement with TLM Associates for engineering services for a sidewalk on Madison Street. The December work session and board meeting were canceled due to the Christmas holidays.
