Board of Trustees Committee
The External Affairs Committee meeting included updates on legislative affairs, a presentation on the Wentworth Travel Fellowship with student presenters showcasing their experiences, and a compilation of reports from various UNCW departments, including the Alumni Association, Athletics, Military Affairs, University Relations, and University Advancement. The Alumni Association focused on alumni engagement through philanthropy, events, volunteerism, and communications. Athletics reported on new leadership, conference championships, and participation in the NCAA March Madness tournament. Military Affairs highlighted engagement activities and opportunities for military-affiliated students. University Relations discussed the launch of a marketing/branding initiative and promoted various university achievements and events. University Advancement reported on philanthropy, grants, and a historic gift.
