Kipp Tulsa Public Charter Schools Regular Board Meeting
The board reviewed State of the Region data, including attendance metrics and chronic absenteeism, and discussed new board and development committee initiatives, such as the formation of a branding committee. Updates were provided regarding student enrollment numbers and progress on building purchases. The board approved several items, including charter contracts for 2026-2029 for KTCP and KTUP, lease agreements for KTCP, a real estate purchase and associated land survey for the Mark Twain property, and various fund transfers. Additionally, the board approved the appointment of a new board member, the fiscal year 2026-2027 budget, a memorandum of understanding with Oral Roberts University, and a food management contract. An executive session was held to deliberate on the superintendent's employment contract for the 2026-2027 school year.
