The board convened to conduct a meeting, during which a motion was made and carried to enter into an executive session. The purpose of the executive session was to discuss matters related to litigation, the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees, independent contractors, or volunteers, collective negotiating matters, and matters relating to individual students.

The Board met to discuss various operational and educational matters, including a review of architectural proposals for a new sports complex. The meeting included a public comment session regarding workplace concerns, reports from student board members, and a financial update from the Superintendent’s office. Key information items covered were contract renewals for various services, a driver education car purchase, and an update to student expectations. The Board also took action on policy approvals, an academic leave of absence request, a personnel report, and a proposal for a retirement celebration for retiring staff members.
