The public work session included public comments regarding concerns about student activism on immigration enforcement (ICE) and the administration's handling of the topic at Perry Meridian High School. The meeting also featured informational presentations: an update from Lancer Associate Architecture Firm on the 2025-2027 High Schools Expansion/Renovation and District-Wide Facility Improvement and Equipping Projects, and an update from Skillman Construction on the Holder Field project.

The meeting addressed employee salaries and compensation structures. The board considered a contract addendum for mileage, new course adoptions for Perry Meridian High School, a snow removal agreement with PMT Lawn & Landscape, bids for school bus purchases, and a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Chicago Network for College Success. The board also reviewed and accepted various donations for elementary and secondary schools, including funds for STEM programs, student activities, and scholarships.

The finance committee meeting included a fund update, an update on the IDOE Form 54, a review of anticipated finance agenda items for upcoming board meetings in September 2025, an audit update, a 2026 budget update, a project funding update, and a retirement plan update.

The meeting included a Perry Township Education Foundation Presentation and a public hearing for the proposed 2026 budget, capital projects plan, and bus replacement plan. Public comments were heard regarding the 2025-2027 High Schools Expansion/Renovation and District-Wide Facility Improvement and Equipping Project, as well as the tentative 2025-2026 Collective Bargaining Agreement. The board also considered child nutrition meal pricing, allowance of vouchers, contracts and agreements, the financial report, fundraiser requests, insurance rates, personnel report, and student travel. Additional items included consideration of a supplemental personnel report, Grady Brothers Agreement, Indiana Institute on Disability and Community Contract, new course adoption, Scott Carson Agreement, and donations.
