Salem County School District Feasibility Study Presentation
The presentation focused on a feasibility study regarding the potential unification of school districts in Salem County. Experts evaluated two primary proposals: forming a single PK-12 county-wide regional school district or establishing two separate regional districts, categorized as northern and southern. The discussion included detailed demographic analyses, such as birth rate trends, enrollment projections, capacity assessments of existing school facilities, and financial implications. The presenters emphasized that the goal was to provide data for public and official consideration, noting that any structural changes to the school districts would ultimately require a public referendum.
