This document serves as an inaugural impact report for Cornell University's Ignite program, a strategic initiative reimagined in 2021 to bridge the gap between research and commercialization through targeted gap funding. The program operates via three signature components: Innovation Acceleration, Fellow for New Ventures, and Startup Projects. Its strategic direction is focused on de-risking early-stage technologies, fostering startup creation, attracting follow-on investment, enhancing career pathways, and enriching the overall Cornell innovation ecosystem to amplify its impact across various disciplines and markets.
