Salinas Elementary School District Board of Trustees Regular Board Meeting
The Board of Trustees met to discuss and act on several key items. The session covered closed session matters, including litigation and labor negotiations, and personnel appointments. In open session, the Board addressed redistricting, safe routes to schools, nutrition services, and local performance indicators. Numerous action items were approved, including the 2019-2020, 2020-2021, and 2021-2024 LCAPs, the 2021-22 proposed budget, collective bargaining agreements, various construction and repair contracts for district facilities, and updates to joint powers authority representatives. Additionally, the consent agenda included multiple service contracts for student support programs such as literacy, arts, STEM academies, and occupational therapy.
