Remarks were shared from the city of Lakewood, covering topics such as the storm water retention calendar, recognition of student leaders, city budget adjustments, transitions in city management positions, street projects, and upcoming December events. Public comments were heard, addressing concerns about student safety, behavioral support, and equity issues at Evergreen Elementary School, as well as the placement of freshmen in AP human geography.

A presentation was given on the English Language Arts curriculum adoption, detailing the rationale, process, and next steps for adopting a new curriculum for grades 6-12. There was also a discussion regarding school annual action plans, including a review of the format template, implementation team, team procedures, student and system level data, and smarty goals. Additionally, an update was provided on the video camera project, which aims to standardize and upgrade surveillance cameras across the district.
