Mineral Wells Independent School District Workshop/Regular Board Meeting
The Board of Trustees held a meeting that included special recognitions for student-athlete programs and coaches. The Superintendent provided a report on the TASB Summer Leadership Institute Conference and recognized a departing board member. An informational report was given regarding the Pregnancy Related Services and Compensatory Education Home Instruction program. Action items included approval of the consent agenda, a donation to the school district's drone program, the 2026-2027 innovative course list, the student code of conduct, the teacher appraisal calendar, and a resolution for nonbusiness days. Additionally, the Board endorsed a candidate for the TASB Board of Directors and authorized the initiation of proceedings for the sale of real property. The session concluded with informational presentations on ESSA planning amounts, the upcoming student and employee handbooks, and district calendars.
