The Board adopted the Student Religious Liberties Policy to comply with the Ohio Student Religious Liberties Act of 2019. The policy allows students to engage in religious expression, have access to facilities for religious purposes, and express religious beliefs in assignments without penalty. It also permits students to be absent for up to three religious expression days each school year, with alternative accommodations for missed academic requirements. The policy includes a grievance procedure for complaints and requires the school to provide a nonexhaustive list of major religious holidays.
