Venus Independent School District Regular Meeting Minutes
The Board reviewed campus reports and presented schematic designs for the new high school. Presentations included information on substitute teacher service providers and the receipt of the TASBO Purchasing Award of Merit. The Board approved several items, including a transition plan for Bluebonnet Learning Instructional Materials, the certification of provision of instructional materials for 2025-2026, a substitute system contract with ESS, and teacher and staff contracts for the upcoming year. Additionally, the Board authorized a proposal agreement with Terracon Consultants, Inc., approved compensation for staff regarding inclement weather, and addressed various personnel matters. The approval of the academic calendar for the 2026-2027 school year was tabled.
