The presentation highlighted urgent interventions required for older facilities, including HVAC and infrastructure repairs. Additionally, the Board discussed long-term financial planning, identifying capital funding sources and projecting budgets for maintenance and future renovation projects over the next five years.

This strategic plan serves as a roadmap to enhance educational outcomes, outlining clear goals, strategies, and actionable steps. It focuses on three strategic priorities: Resources (Finances, Staffing, Facilities), Belonging (Community Engagement, Relationships, Student and Staff Well-Being, Collaborative Climate and Culture), and Academic Excellence (Attendance and Engagement, Curriculum and Evidence-Based Instruction, Academic Achievement and Growth, College and Career Readiness). The plan aims to foster collaboration, ensure transparent communication, and actively engage stakeholders to create a shared vision for continuous improvement, ultimately benefiting students and the broader community.

The Wentzville School District, experiencing rapid growth and projected to reach over 21,000 students by 2025, has implemented a "K through six plan for growth." The initiative aims to alleviate overcrowding in middle schools, effectively manage student enrollment, and sustain high academic standards while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
