Financial documents indicated significant out-of-district tuition cost variances and salary savings due to position reconfigurations, such as the Pre-K Director role. Discussions referenced previous meetings, including proposed shifts to the elementary instructional schedule and the planned addition of K-12 Curriculum Coordinator positions, which administration decided to postpone to FY28 due to fiscal constraints, though the committee considered adding one for FY27.

Key discussions included community comments advocating for retaining the FLES program. Financial reports detailed warrant information, an approximate $15,000 savings in SPED Administration due to position reallocation, $16,000 savings in School Leadership-Building from an administrative assistant retirement and conversion to a 10-month role, and a material negative variance of approximately $745,000 in Out-of-District tuition costs.
