The agenda includes consideration of the annual budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025, and amendments to stormwater fees. Also to be discussed are amendments to landscape maintenance standards and zoning ordinances, including regulations for sexual encounter clubs. The board will consider an amendment to the fiscal year 2024-2025 budget and resolutions regarding surplus property and a contract with the State of Tennessee Department of Transportation.

The report includes legislative accomplishments such as approved ordinances related to fire protection, zoning map amendments, the municipal code, stormwater fees, and regulations for adult-oriented establishments. Resolutions were approved for setting residential solid waste fees, contracts with the Tennessee Department of Transportation, proclaiming Kids to Parks Day, authorizing employer contributions to TCRS, approving an Arts Builds Communities Grant, declaring National Small Business Week, ratifying appointments to the Industrial Development Board, amending Parks and Recreation Department fees, declaring property surplus, and approving an Economic Impact Plan for the Rivergate Mall Economic Development Plan Area. The Planning Commission approved a final subdivision plat amendment, relocation of a dwelling unit, a site plan for a sales office, and a master plan extension for townhouse units. The Industrial Development Board approved a resolution for an Economic Impact Plan and Project Agreement for the Rivergate Mall Economic Development Plan Area. The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board discussed various topics, and the Beautification and Tree Advisory Board discussed the Arboretum Health Check, tree species, and a Native Wildflower Meadow Proposal.

The Goodlettsville Board of Commissioners meeting on September 12, 2024, will include the first reading of ordinances 24-1094 (zoning map amendment) and 24-1095 (budget amendment), along with resolutions concerning the municipal fund depository, a tree planting grant, Industrial Development Board appointments, surplus property disposal, and an amendment to a tourism grant. Citizen comments and reports from city staff and committees will also be part of the meeting.
