Caliber Contracting's vision is to become a nationally recognized builder of customized tiny homes, typically ranging from 400 to 500 square feet. The company aims to provide alternative housing options for individuals seeking flexible living arrangements beyond traditional mortgages or apartments. Furthermore, it seeks to promote greater female participation in the construction industry. The long-term goal is to achieve national brand recognition within five years, delivering small business quality across the country.

The event marked the 49th annual commencement for Ivy Tech Community College in northeast Indiana, celebrating 50 years in Fort Wayne during 2019. Key segments included recognition of family, friends, faculty, and staff support, as well as introductions of members of the state and campus Board of Trustees, legislators, and senior leadership. The ceremony included a moment of silence honoring the late Don Wood, former CEO and founder of 80/20 Inc., and a strong ambassador for Ivy Tech. Academic deans presented diplomas to graduates across various schools, including Advanced Manufacturing, Arts Sciences and Education, Business Logistics, Health Sciences, and Nursing. Awards were presented for excellence in instruction to full-time and part-time faculty members. Outstanding student awards were given to recipients from each academic school, and the highest honor, the Melvin L. Curtis Award for Academic Excellence, was presented to Josiah Abel and Nicole Minear. The student speaker, Matteo Gonzalez, shared an inspirational message about learning from past mistakes and relying on community support, referencing his personal journey and the narrative of The Lion King.

This workshop provides a guide to career goal setting, outlining five key steps: understanding oneself, brainstorming career options, thorough research of top choices, gaining practical experience, and initiating the decision-making process. It emphasizes the importance of setting SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Timely) goals to ensure effectiveness and attainability.
