Paul D. Camp Community College Minutes of Local College Board Meeting
The Paul D. Camp Community College Local Board meeting included discussions and actions on several key areas. The board approved the 2019-2020 Local Advisory Committee Memberships and new program recommendations associated with G3 (Get Skilled, Get a Job, Give Back) initiative, including Foundations of Criminal Justice Career Studies Certificate, Practical Electrical Technician CSC, Cybersecurity and Networking Foundations CSC, and Emergency Medical Services Associate of Applied Science degree. An enrollment update was provided, and the board addressed the issue of absenteeism among members. Updates were given on the Local Funds Financial Report for Year End FY2019, a Shared Service Level Agreement with TNCC, the Annual Fund Campaign, the Annual Golf Tournament, and Workforce Development. The college was selected as one of the 2019 Great Colleges to Work For, and SACSCOC reaffirmed Camp's accreditation. A presentation was given to the Franklin City Council regarding a plan for a Camp Sports Complex, and the rebranding of the college was discussed.
