Board of Trustees Minutes
The board and its committees conducted reviews on several strategic and financial initiatives. The Governance Committee discussed a resolution in support of the 2020 Census and reviewed the 2020 Legislative Program. The Teaching and Learning Committee covered the 2020 Accreditation update, mission and vision statements, the Norco College 2030 Educational Master Plan, and proposed curricular changes. The Planning and Operations Committee addressed a proposed childcare fee increase at Moreno Valley College. The Resources Committee reviewed Proposition 39 independent financial and performance audits, independent audits for the district and foundation, the Ben Clark Training Center needs assessment, and a project budget augmentation for the corrections platform training facility.
