Universidad de Puerto Rico en Humacao Plan Estratégico de Desarrollo 2013-2018
The Strategic Development Plan for the Universidad de Puerto Rico en Humacao serves as a managerial instrument to guide institutional efforts toward its mission and vision. It focuses on five strategic goals: enhancing student performance through excellent general and professional education, improving the quality of life in the service area via socioeconomic development initiatives, promoting and enriching Puerto Rican culture through regional and international exchange, fostering a respectful institutional climate, and revitalizing research to advance knowledge and solve regional and international problems. The plan aims to contribute to cultural, environmental, social, and economic development, thereby improving the quality of life in the eastern region served by the university.
