The Nevada Wildlife Connectivity Plan aims to enhance and maintain ecological connectivity across the state to ensure the long-term survival and well-being of wildlife populations. It outlines six primary objectives: identifying key wildlife connectivity areas, analyzing their suitability, addressing barriers and impediments to movement, maintaining and increasing habitat connectivity, enhancing public awareness and engagement, and implementing monitoring and adaptive management. The plan serves as a blueprint to safeguard biodiversity, support ecosystem resilience, and mitigate habitat fragmentation, focusing initially on big game species, large carnivores, and special status species.

The Nevada Aquatic Invasive Species Management Plan aims to prevent the introduction and spread of aquatic invasive species (AIS) within Nevada, limit the spread of existing AIS populations, and minimize the harmful ecological, economic, social, and public health impacts resulting from AIS. The plan focuses on oversight and coordination, prevention, outreach and education, monitoring, early detection and response, long-term control, and laws and regulations.

The Elk Species Management Plan focuses on managing elk populations in Nevada by preparing subplans, coordinating release proposals, and reducing natural limiting factors. It aims to allow elk populations to expand their distribution and number, consistent with subplans and release plans. The plan also addresses habitat management, damage management, and competitive interaction between elk and other species, while promoting public involvement and coordination.

The Bighorn Sheep Management Plan serves as a guiding document for the Nevada Board of Wildlife Commissioners and the Nevada Division of Wildlife, outlining their efforts in the conservation and management of bighorn sheep populations and their habitat. The plan focuses on protecting existing bighorn sheep habitat, addressing limiting factors such as water and forage conditions, and increasing bighorn populations statewide. It includes strategies for habitat delineation, acquisition, and special designations, as well as population monitoring, disease management, and predator control. The plan also addresses harvest management, law enforcement, economics, and conservation education to ensure the long-term well-being of bighorn sheep.

The 2022-2032 Nevada State Wildlife Action Plan is a comprehensive plan for conserving the state's wildlife and habitat resources. It identifies 367 Species of Greatest Conservation Need (SGCN) and outlines strategies to address threats such as residential and commercial development, agriculture, energy production, transportation, invasive species, pollution, and climate change. The plan emphasizes habitat restoration, climate change resilience, data management, law enforcement, and public engagement to protect Nevada's wildlife and ecosystems.
