The board approved an invoice of $600.60 payable to the Washington State Auditor and authorized the payment of invoices for the calendar year up to a total of $1,000.00.

The board meeting covered a wide range of administrative and operational actions, including the approval of various agreements for rent assistance, information technology services, and public safety programs. A public hearing was held regarding the vacation of a portion of public right-of-way. The Board authorized the initiation of architectural and engineering services for upcoming Justice Center tenant improvements. Additionally, the Board approved a line item transfer to support a temporary internship in the Office of Public Defense and passed a resolution updating face-covering policies to align with updated state department of health guidance. Support was expressed for the upcoming Benton-Franklin Fair, and various financial resolutions were finalized concerning payroll and accounts payable.

The board discussed a variety of operational and administrative matters. Key topics included the closure of a Community Development Block Grant and the application for new funding, the adoption of an ordinance regarding zoning in the Red Mountain Agricultural District, a proposed tenant improvement project for the Justice Center, and the approval of a contract for the development of a comprehensive parks plan. A memorandum of understanding with Franklin County regarding the operations, ownership, and renovation of the Juvenile Justice Center was approved, including funding for facility upgrades. Additionally, the Board authorized an extension of the land use agreement for the Rattlesnake Mountain Shooting Facility, handled several contract approvals and administrative resolutions, and conducted an executive session to discuss potential litigation and personnel matters.
