The commission reviewed and approved a special use permit amendment for a ComEd maintenance facility project on Route 31, involving improvements to site infrastructure, building height, and landscaping. The commission also reviewed several proposed text amendments to the Unified Development Ordinance regarding spa uses, native plantings, seat walls, vegetation and fence regulations, automatic public hearing continuations, and art murals. Due to public concerns regarding vegetation and fence definitions, the commission voted to continue the discussion on the UDO text amendments to a future meeting.
