This Comprehensive Plan outlines a 20-year roadmap for the Village of Hortonville, guiding future decisions and actions to preserve its charming, small-town character where recreation thrives. The plan addresses key areas including agricultural, natural, and cultural resources, utilities and community facilities, economic development, housing, transportation and mobility, intergovernmental cooperation, and land use, with goals and strategies designed to achieve a long-term vision for a thriving and sustainable community.

The public hearing for the 2026 budget included discussions on various revenue and expenditure items. Key topics included general property taxes, lottery credits, shared revenue, fire insurance tax, and state aid for roads. Expenditure discussions covered general government, financial administration, court, municipal building, payroll/employee benefits, elections, police payroll, police materials, building maintenance, fire & EMS, street maintenance, equipment maintenance, refuse/brush/weed control, health and human service, culture & recreation, and conservation & development. The budget also addressed transfers and reserves.
