The committee approved several resolutions, including a new non-matriculated course fee for the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema, an Academic Excellence Fee for the Master of Science in City Planning program at Baruch College, and the procurement of Dell workstations and monitors for senior colleges. Additionally, the committee authorized contracts for a university-wide AI research platform with Google, LLC, a five-year agreement with Complete Book & Media Supply Inc. for educational materials, and a contract with the Bronx Community Health Network to provide clinical services for the Lehman College Student Health Center. The committee also approved the January 2026 Personnel Matters Report and multiple administrative appointments to various colleges and schools. The meeting concluded with information updates regarding the State Executive Budget and the allocation of one-time state funds.

The Committee on Education Policy reviewed and approved several academic initiatives, including the establishment of new bachelor's degree programs in Applied Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at Baruch College and in Early Childhood and Childhood Teacher Education at Lehman College. Additionally, the committee approved an amendment to the Bronx Community College Governance Plan, as well as multiple immediate tenure appointments, early tenure awards, and endowed professorship appointments across several CUNY campuses. The committee also formally approved the Faculty Personnel Matters Report and the Curriculum and Academic Policy Dashboard Report. Finally, the committee discussed the New York City Public Schools High School Senior Pipeline to CUNY Dashboard.

The committee approved several academic and administrative actions, including the establishment of new degree programs at Baruch College, Lehman College, and the CUNY School of Professional Studies. Additionally, campus reorganizations were authorized for Lehman College, and governance plans were amended for LaGuardia Community College and the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy. The committee also moved to establish new academic centers and institutes, adopted a university-wide admissions policy regarding online high school diplomas, and approved multiple faculty appointments involving immediate and early tenures, as well as the appointment of an endowed chair. Finally, the committee approved various faculty personnel matters and curriculum policy reports.

The Committee on Facilities Planning and Management reviewed several construction and renovation resolutions. Key approvals included mechanical upgrades for Carman Hall at Lehman College, construction for the Cancer Center and Chemistry Lab renovations at Brooklyn College, and renovations plus HVAC upgrades for Roosevelt Hall at Brooklyn College. Additionally, the committee approved the reconstruction of the parking garage at Queens College, an interim occupancy agreement for a new dormitory at Lehman College, and a lease agreement at 205 Hudson Street for the Hunter College Fine Arts Program. An information item regarding 63 Madison Avenue for Baruch College was also provided.
