Construction of a new open channel ultraviolet disinfection (uv) system that will replace an existing system within an existing concrete channel. Work includes modifications to the existing channel, modifications to the downstream weir and flow path, and additions of upstream flow conditioners/ baffles. The work also includes addition of a recessed maintenance platform area, canopy additions and structural modifications to the existing canopy, and electrical and instrumentation work associated with the uv system. The work includes repair and reconstruction of existing improvements affected by the work, including rerouting of small diameter plant water pipes to accommodate the maintenance platform, and incidentals for complete and usable facility.

Demolish existing filtration equipment, retrofit existing water treatment infrastructure, upgrade existing backwash pond, install owner-purchased low pressure membrane filtration system containers with supporting equipment and canopy structure, install raw water pump station upgrades, chemical storage and feed system, finished water pump station with curried clearwell, site grading, erosion control, civil site work and yard piping, stormwater improvements, electrical and instrumentation improvements, and install owner-purchased generator and switchboard.

Construct new CMU building housing the chlorine system and natural gas generator, reservoir mixing system, driveway improvements, landscaping, and transfer pump station improvements includes 235 CY general excavation, 20 LF furnish and install 12" class 52 ductile iron pipe restrained with class B trench backfill, 32 LF furnish and install 4" building drain pipe, 75 LF furnish and install 6" storm drain pipe, 1 EA 96" chlorine manhole, 1 LS reservoir hydrodynamic mixing system, 110 LF 3" PVC conduit.
