The council reviewed and selected recipients for the 2026 City of Parker / Heritage Park scholarship applications. Additionally, the members engaged in a discussion regarding the need to revise requirements for future scholarship programs.
The Council meeting addressed various municipal operations and projects. The City Clerk reported that the City of Parker received three 'Best of the Best 2025' awards. The Council approved up to $300 for installing emergency lights in the Community Building, with one member abstaining. New Business included approving $250 Christmas bonuses for most employees and a $125 bonus for the Police Chief based on length of employment, and approving the CMB license renewal for One Stop for 2026.
