The Monroe Trails Committee meeting will include NEPA updates, focusing on EA application deadlines, MOUs, trail mapping, and cultural survey scheduling. East side trail updates will cover bench trail flagging and a canal trail proposal. The committee will plan a City Council update, proposing a date for the presentation of progress updates and the 2025 general plan, and will discuss an easement for parking and restroom access at Red Hill Hot Springs trailhead. General business will include discussions on shirts and swag, and the initiation of a contractor bid process and trail crew creation and scheduling.

The Monroe City Council meeting will cover several items, including approval of the minutes from the March 25, 2025 meeting; approval of the March 2025 warrant register, adjustment journal, and aging report; a conditional use business license application for a dance studio; an application for a hydro screening and sluice structure upgrade; a notice of award for a pavement preservation project; and a letter of support for a senior citizen center grant. Citizen input will also be heard.
