This project is to rehabilitate (mill-and-fill overlay) the existing terminal apron (pavement area approximately 4,950 SY) to provide aircraft parking in front of the newly constructed airport terminal building. The mill-and-fill overlay will be constructed of bituminous asphalt, meeting applicable FAA design standards for Group B-1 small aircraft for pavement strength, geometry, and aircraft parking. The scope of the project generally includes the following: Approximately 2-inches of bituminous pavement milling. Approximately 2-inches of FAA specification bituminous asphalt pavement overlay. Install aircraft parking position tie-downs (approximately 15 EA). The apron is to be marked to accommodate Group I aircraft parking and circulation around the apron to the taxiways and aircraft refueling area.
