The construction of 4 pickleball courts and 1 tennis court at the Fairfax City Park and Athletic Complex. These courts shall be constructed in the open area south of Linn Street and east of the existing parking lot for the community gardens and dog park. The proposed courts shall be constructed primarily with granular subbase and an asphalt surface. Also included is the installation of the court fencing, surfacing, netting and posts. There shall also be PCC sidewalk & trail construction, as well as underground utilities.

The work includes, but is not limited to, grading and excavation; existing pavement and granular surfacing removal; subbase and subgrade improvements; PCC paving; HMA paving; driveway construction; installation of water main, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer utilities; site restoration; and seeding. Bid items: 1,480 CY topsoil, onsite; 880 CY excavation, cl 13; 897 SY of 6" subbase, modified; 441 LF of 8" sanitary sewer gravity main, trenched, PVC; 1 Ea connection to existing water main. Work generally consists of the installation and associated site improvements for a production well and observation well for the city. The water supply well no. 4 improvements project includes all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for construction of the production well, observation well, site grading and installation of gravel drives. Work includes 60 LF pipe culvert, trenched, 12" reinforced concrete; 121 LF pipe culvert, trenched, 18" reinforced concrete; 3,342 SY driveway granular surfacing, Class A crushed stone 6"; 15 TN of riprap erosion stone; 2,000 LF silt fence; 100 LF 18" conductor steel casing.
