The project will include the removal of existing water and sewer lines, disconnection of services to existing buildings, installation of new 8" water lines and 8" sanitary sewer lines, installation of 6" sanitary sewer services, sanitary sewer manholes, and appurtenant water and sewer equipment necessary to provide a complete water and sewer utility system. The project will also include demolition of existing pavement, curbing, sidewalks, and other hard surfaces required for removal of existing utilities and installation of new utilities. The work will include trench excavation, backfill, compaction, and rock excavation associated with new utility installations, installation of backflow preventers and meters, fire line connections including fire department connections (FDCs) and post indicator valves (PIVs), and other associated infrastructure improvements. Coordination with adjacent properties will be required to ensure maintenance of water and sewer services during construction.
