The board meeting included discussion and review of the August financial report, district employee reports, and updates on various programs. The NACD TA Grant was mentioned, and ARJWS may join to increase the grant total. The board appointed Ashley Acuff to fill the Big Creek Watershed Vacancy. Information was shared from the SCACD Mid-Year Meeting. Ann Marie and Pamela will attend the 2025 SC Farm Bureau Women's Leadership Conference. Changes will be made to the Kinder-Morgan Grant before submission. The Seed Library Update reported on seed packing parties and kits. Ann Marie held engagements during August, and a list of upcoming programs was included. The no-till drill program was discussed, and promotion for fall planting will begin. Brian Stoddard provided a written NRCS report, and Katie Hoffman shared information on the July reports from SCDNR.

SC Office of Resilience spoke about how their office can help and partner with conservation, including advising and possibly financial matching on projects. The Board discussed donating to the Martin Acevedo Legacy Farm Show.

Ann Marie provided updates on the closing of the Fall 2024 Seed Library and details of the upcoming Spring 2025 Seed Library, as well as updates on past and upcoming programs.
