The installation of six (6) new lavatories, relocation of two (2) existing lavatories, mounting of seven (7) exam lights throughout seven (7) rooms, and the reconfiguration of one large exam room into two smaller exam rooms within the outpatient surgery department’s clinical space. This will be inclusive of: installation of required ICRA barriers; cutting a rough-in for the lavatory out of the existing wall; piping, valving, and terminating the appropriate Hot Water (HW) and Cold Water (CW) pipes to each new lavatory; ground penetrating radar (GPR) of existing floor slab and subsequent core drilling for lavatory waste line; installation of new waste and vent pipes and connection to existing lines; pulling and installing the electrical connections for new lavatory fixtures; final mounting and connection of the lavatory; mounting and energizing a wall- mounted exam light in each new exam room; erecting, mudding, and painting a new dividing wall; Installation two duplex receptacles on the new dividing wall; installing a new door for exam room access; installing a new ceiling-mounted fire alarm speaker; installing a new return-air (RA) register and tying its associated ductwork into an existing RA trunk; reconfiguring and rearranging lighting in existing exam room as necessary; and patching, repair, and painting of entire wall in which the new lavatory was installed.

This project will replace several pieces of equipment in the Central Utility Plant that are beyond their serviceable life. It will also provide catwalk access for existing serviceable equipment that is currently inaccessible in the existing plant configuration.
This work includes but is not limited to: Replacement of the heat recovery system in the boiler room. Replace the existing water softener copper piping with new stainless steel piping and add polisher for a redundant system. Reconfigure the non-return valve at the top of boiler #3 into a horizontal configuration. Replace the existing corroded condensate return/surge tank with a new stainless steel tank. Extend/connect catwalk above boiler room for access to air handlers. Replace windows with operable louvers in Boiler room above overhead door (interlock to close with fire alarm activation). Automate back-up pumps located in Building 5 basement Controls in Building 2 boiler room and connect to existing BMS/JCI system for controlling and status display. Automate fuel oil system located in Building 3 and locate controls in Building 2 boiler room. Integrate fuel tank system to Hayz Cleveland controls in Building 2 boiler room (9 tanks total only 4 tanks are currently showing on the system). Separate 2 of the 5 condenser pumps onto their own dedicated power source bank (MCC). Replace 5 existing condenser pumps with high efficiency double impeller or raise the cooling towers and extend screen wall around cooling tower yard.
