Summary
Consists of but is not limited to: approx. 0.18 AC of clearing and grubbing; 32 EA tree removal; 30 CY of unusable excavation placed as unclassified fill; 24 Ton classified fill and backfill (Type IIA); 5.5 CY of PCC. thickened edge slab; removal of structures and obstructions (existing tram cable system, structures, concrete, and associated Items); 1 traffic maintenance: 1 cable suspension bridge and anchoring system; and other related work. Consists of, but is not limited to: all clearing necessary to construct the project and develop a worksite staging area; all grubbing required for the development of foundations, structures, trails, and placement of fill; removal of trees and snags that are within the grubbing limits, broken off, dead, or leaning towards the trail, structures, or cables; demolition, removal, and salvage of the existing hand tram system including two tram structures, the pulley system, instructional kiosks, cables, and other associated items; development of a concrete thickened edge pad for future interpretive shelter; preservation of existing trails being used for construction access and activities to original trail template; maintaining the Winner Creek Trail and restoring the parking lot in such a condition as to safely accommodate traffic; procurement, delivery, and installation of a 206 linear foot suspension pedestrian bridge and associated towers, railing, and anchoring systems; site restoration, final grading, and seeding of disturbed areas.
