USS COLE (DDG-67) Shore Power Receptacle Cables

This is a NAVSEA (Naval Sea Systems Command) sources-sought announcement to conduct market research for the FY27 Dry Docking Selected Restricted Availability (DSRA) of USS DONALD COOK (DDG 75). The government seeks firms capable of performing dry-dock and pier-side maintenance, repair, and alterations anticipated for performance 2027-01-11 to 2028-04-15; the anticipated contract type is firm-fixed-price. Responses (market information/letters of interest) are requested by 01/02/2026 at 4:00 PM ET; the posting is a Sources Sought (not an RFP or grant) and the original posting is on SAM.gov.

The Availability’s modernization scope will include a significant amount of work across multiple trades and spaces. The work will largely consist of CANES HW 2.0, BMD 4.0, TTWCS V5.4.0.2, SLQ-32(V)6, AWS:CKT 3TV COTS Upgrade, VLS Magazine Ventilation Upgrades, AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 WITH TI-18 HW various NAVSEA Program Alts as well as Berthing modifications, Removal of Unused MCS Cables and Main Drainage System Piping ShipAlts. The successful contractor must be able to provide an integrated production schedule that incorporates AIT, 3rd Party contractors, and Government workload. Key trades & efforts include: structural welding, cabling pulling, piping, electrical, and ventilation work if needed. Both the prime contractor and AIT contractors will execute the structural/industrial work. Further direction will be provided in the work specification package to define the work split. The Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command (Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center) issued a combined synopsis/solicitation N5005426Q0050 requesting Port and Starboard Controllable Pitch Propeller (CPP) Prairie Air and Valve Rod components and related hardware for USS GONZALEZ (DDG-66). The notice is a Total Small Business set-aside under FAR Part 13/FAR 12.6 and requires all parts to be new; the detailed Statement of Work and attachments are hosted on SAM.gov/PIEE and may require vendor access. Responses are due by December 16, 2025, and interested bidders must reference RFQ N5005426Q0050 when submitting via the official portal.

The Oxnard Harbor District (Port of Hueneme) is soliciting bids to design, install, and commission shore power electrical infrastructure at the Port of Hueneme’s South Terminal to enable ocean-going container vessels to connect to shore power and eliminate diesel auxiliary engine emissions while at berth. The project includes advanced electrical systems, associated construction, and compliance with local labor/community workforce requirements. The solicitation is an open public bid with an estimated value range of $5,000,000–$15,000,000 (site estimate) and includes a pre-bid onsite meeting and online Q&A period.
