Within the blower and electrical room, the doors shall be replaced and include landing pads to address existing drainage related sloping issues. All work is to be constructed in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications.

The project consists of (but is not necessarily limited to) removing and placing/replacing back the adsorption clarifier beads and mixed media (anthracite coal, silica sand, high-density sand) support gravel, surface wash arms, and underdrain system from the filter, disassembling and rehabilitating and or replacing associated appurtenances (valves, gates, gauges, piping, etc. ) as needed, and removing / re-coating the adsorption clarifier and filter both internally and externally as well as all associated piping and appurtenances. The district is also interested in contemplating the incorporation of improved technologies associated with the filter rehabilitation described and appreciates input from prospective bidders.
