Rehabilitation of the filter and associated appurtenances at the reclaim plant. The project consists of (but is not necessarily limited to) removing and placing/replacing back the adsorption clarifier beads and mixed media (anthracite coal, silica sand, high-density sand) support gravel, surface wash arms, and underdrain system from the filter, disassembling and rehabilitating and or replacing associated appurtenances (valves, gates, gauges, piping, etc. ) as needed, and removing / re-coating the adsorption clarifier and filter both internally and externally as well as all associated piping and appurtenances. In 2024, the City hired a consultant (Ramboll) to conduct a condition assessment of the filters and their related control valves, and prepare a preliminary Engineering Report with recommendations for future improvements/replacements. That report was completed in July of 2025. The City is seeking proposals from a qualified Consultant (Consultant) to provide design and construction administration services to implement the recommendations in the Preliminary Engineering Report.
