Division A - improvements consist of 30" tangent pile wall with alternating reinforced steel hp 10 x 42 reinforced concrete shafts for primary pilings, drilled 10 feet into bedrock and 30" concrete shafts, drilled 10' into bedrock for secondary pilings, as per the geotechnical design. Total wall length is approx., 245'. Minor drainage improvements will be constructed to outfall through the secondary pilings. Roadway will be widened to 18' wide typical with curb along the north side of the road. Division B - improvements consist of undercut excavation to address unsuitable subgrade conditions due to a storm event, followed by backfill operations utilizing 304 aggregate base materials in accordance with project specifications. Topsoil, seeding, and erosion control mat will be added to encourage vegetative growth and deter erosion. Upon completion of subgrade remediation, full-depth restoration of the roadway section will be performed to match existing line, grade, and cross-section.
