South Freight Elevator Repairs - DCU Center / DPF

Repairs of the south freight elevator. Inspection of and drying all affected traveler cable conductors, splices, junction points, and device terminations within the hoistway trough and car top; clean or replace any water-damaged connectors, wiring, or devices necessary to restore proper operation of alarms, door operation, and signal fixtures. Tests the repaired circuits; and functionally testing all affected systems to verify reliable, code-compliant operation prior to returning the elevator to service, with the unit remaining out of service until all shorts are cleared and all tests pass.
