Summary
Construction services supporting the Wilson Lake Project. The scope of the Wilson Lake Campground Sewer System Improvements Project includes addressing compliance and operational issues at Minooka Park and Lucas Park by rehabilitating their sanitary sewer Lagoons systems. The Work will include:
At Minooka Park, the project involves constructing a new 0.17-acre secondary lagoon cell to meet Kansas Dept. of Health and Environment's (KDHE) two-cell lagoon requirements and mitigate overflow risks, along with necessary appurtenances such as a synthetic liner, access road, fencing, splitter structure, and piping. It also includes rehabilitating the lift station by replacing aging pumps with higher-capacity 5-horsepower models, upgrading controls, and replacing the existing 2-inch diameter force main with a 3" HDPE pipe to handle increased flow. At Lucas Park, the scope focuses on rehabilitating the lift station by replacing aging pumps and updating mechanical and electrical components to ensure reliable operation. These improvements aim to enhance system reliability, comply with regulatory requirements, and mitigate environmental and operational risks Minooka Park Loop C (30 RV campsites + 1 host site), Upgrades require electrical and water system. Replace the old system with a new PVC loop, adding frost-free hydrants with hose bibs at each site, install a new electrical loop with updated panels, conduit, and government-furnished pedestals (30A/50A), ensuring National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70 compliance.
