AvailableSeeking to pre-qualify contractors for subcontractor trade packages. The Varina Public Services Center project consists of new buildings along with an addition and partial renovation of their existing Administration building. This project includes a 15 acre site that will require partial demolition of existing hardscapes and underground utilities, a full earthwork package, new utility and storm infrastructure, rework of existing detention ponds and new pond construction, and new asphalt and concrete paving. The site will be landscaped on all sides due to setback requirements. The project will be phased so certain aspects of the sitework package and new building construction will need to be coordinated for timing and logistics to keep the facility operating. The new buildings are primarily PEMB structures with a mix of masonry, metal panel cladding, and light gage framing. The largest of the new structures, the Out-Building, will include a full interior admin area complete with interior infrastructure and finishes. The remainder of the new PEMB structures will be a mix of covered parking structures, enclosed storage, and a Decant shed for liquids storage. The addition to the existing Admin building will be structural steel framing with load bearing CMU and exterior framing. There will be a new stranding seam metal roof to match the existing structure and a low TPO roof. This addition will be completely upfit on the interior.
